Hilge Pump Seal

The Hilge pump seal is a mechanical seal used in Hilge pumps, which are centrifugal pumps manufactured by the German company, Hilge GmbH & Co. KG. The pump seal is a critical component that helps to prevent leakage of the pumped fluid from the pump.
The Hilge pump seal is designed to maintain a tight seal between the rotating shaft of the pump and the stationary pump housing. It consists of two primary components: the stationary seal face and the rotating seal face. These faces are made of materials that can withstand the operating conditions of the pump, such as temperature and pressure.
When the pump is in operation, the rotating seal face rotates along with the pump shaft, while the stationary seal face remains fixed in the pump housing. The two faces are pressed against each other with a specified amount of force, creating a seal that prevents fluid from leaking out of the pump.
